Down Town Auburn

I took a class through Placer County adult education today...it was a photo shoot through down town Auburn...which is a beautiful little mining town in the foothills. I wouldn't mind living there! My assigned color to shoot for the first part of the day was red...it was amazing how much more I saw and noticed when I had an assignment. So I took a bunch of random pictures of red objects...and a few other things I found interesting. I am pretty excited to work on these...so here are a few from the day!

  1. Interesting exercise. You make me want to take up photography! P.S. When did you change the title/introduction to your blog? I was surprised not to see Shaun and Preston anymore.

  2. That is an interesting exercise and the photos turned out great! I'm always trying to think of new ways to look at the world through a lens.

By the way, what type of filter did you use with these pictures?

  4. I found your blog through a friend... Would you mind telling me what class you took? I live in the Sacramento area and love taking the kind of shots you've posted here. They're awesome! I've been wanting to visit downtown Auburn... it looks like so much fun! I'll definitely have to take my camera.
