Little Darling | Sacramento Children's Photographer

I just LOVE when parent come back to me and I get to see their little ones grow up! It is so fun and so unreal! Every time I cannot believe how much they have grown. I met this little guy about a year ago when he was born and i took pictures here and then again here when he was about 6 months old. He was seriously one of the easiest kids to photograph. Full of smiles. Love it!!  

 Oh, and this one is mine :) She just turned TWO and I can hardly believe it!

I have made the decision to change my business name to my actual name: "Janelle Edwards Photography." The reason being is that for all the different things I want to do, weddings being a main one, I don't feel like Snap goes the Weasel is really all that fitting anymore. So the change will be coming soon, I will let you know when it's final! Just thought I would give a warning :)

Marco & Melissa | Woodland California Wedding Photography

I can't wait o get started on this wedding!! Well, I obviously have edited a few but this couple is just so loving and sweet and I have never been to a wedding where the bride and groom made so many people cry! To me, that shows how many lives these two have been a part of and that they are special to a lot of people..I mean, I even teared up a few times...luckily I had my camera to hide behind :) Here are just a few photos from their lovely day on Saturday. Nathan & Meghan | Sacramento Wedding Photography

Meghan and Nathan were such a special couple! I talked to her once to schedule something and she said she and Nathan were going on a tandem bike ride as an assignment from their pastor who they were meeting with to get ready to be married. This is a couple starting things out right! Aside from being awesome inside, what a gorgeous couple they are on the outside too!! Taylor and Kelli- Featured!

I got a pleasant surprise in my inbox today...a little note to say that one of my pictures was featured on the blog "The LDS Bride." What?! How awesome! Taylor and Kelli were featured in their "Weekly Love" section which is in the top right hand corner of the blog...it'll only be there for a week so I'll need to go look at it every day :) How exciting!

I was this girl's teacher at church when she was just 16 or 17...and now look at her all grown up! Everything about this day was beautiful and I am so glad I got to be there for the best part! More to come soon!

Families 2011 Part I

This past Christmas season was crazy! I was pregnant and sick for part of it and I decided to take on way more than usual so I was a little bit of a nutcase but I was able to meet some awesome new families and see some of my favorite returning families so it was all worth it!

I love seeing families that keep coming back to me! Seeing how their kids are growing and changing and sometimes how the families themselves are growing too is just so exciting! Thank you to everyone who made the end of 2011 a great one! Here is part one of the beautiful families I was able to photograph.
